The vision of Celebration Church is to be a church that significantly impacts the world for the Kingdom of God.
Our mission is to make disciples who make disciples, by reaching, equipping, and sending.
The message and work of the gospel is entrusted to each generation to protect, promote, and pass down. So too, Celebration Church finds itself as a link in that gospel chain, with both the privilege of a rich legacy and the responsibility to press on, to ask big things of God, to trust that He is not yet done redeeming and reclaiming a people for himself. It’s exciting and a wonderful privilege that God is using each of us who are a part of Celebration Church in His mission plan!
God has been abundantly gracious to Celebration Church, far more than we could have ever imagined. He has blessed us in both breadth and depth and yet, we believe it’s only the beginning. Our hope and prayer is that Celebration Church would be a church that remains faithful with a gospel light that cannot be hidden, a church in which God is magnified, a church whose people are increasingly conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, and a church that significantly impacts Montrose, the state of Colorado, and the world for God’s glory

Seventeen years ago, four couples gathered together to pray about God starting a new church in Montrose. They wanted to see God move in the hearts and lives of the people of the Uncompahgre Valley. God answered those prayers in an abundant way by faithfully growing Celebration Church in both numbers and depth. Today we see a body of Christ where discipleship, love, and unity are prioritized, and lives are being changed.
We believe that faithfully continuing the discipleship of the Western Slope requires new vision and tools. The Far More Abundantly campaign is our next step! Dramatic growth in Celebration Kids, Sunday morning attendance, the Pastoral Institute of the Western Slope, and Celebration Groups has led us to recognize the need for a new building to continue making disciples who make disciples in Montrose County.
We are building a new church home because the needs of the area are great – we need more discipleship classrooms, more secure Celebration Kids rooms, a dedicated youth space, more seating for Sunday mornings, office space for Biblical counseling, and enough parking space for all. God continues to make new disciples and strengthen current disciples, and as such, we must create a space to minister to those God has called and will continue to call to His Kingdom.
I’m asking you to begin praying now about how God would have you personally engage in this campaign. Let us boldly and faithfully take this next step together as we watch how God works far more abundantly than we can ask or imagine!
