Ezra 6:1-22

The Heart of the King is in the Hand of the Lord

• The King says 4 things in his letter: 
  • Stay away – Leave them alone
  • Their expenses will be covered by your taxes
  • You will provide for them animals to sacrifice, food, oil, and wine. 
    • AND IF YOU TRY TO CHANGE THIS DECREE, OR STAND IN THE WAY OF THE BUILDING OF THE TEMPLE, YOU WILL DIE.
  • This is literally the definition of God preparing a table before them in the presence of their enemies.
